How long does it take to receive an urn after it has been ordered?

​

Typically, your urn or keepsake will be ready for pickup within 5 to 7 business days. This includes the time required for us to transfer the cremains into the urn.

Because the urn ships directly to us, you don’t have to worry about coordinating delivery or tracking a package. We will handle everything and confirm with you by email when it is ready to be picked up. If you require an expedited delivery, please include this information with your order during check out and every effort will be made to meet your need.

When will my order be ready for pickup?

You will receive a confirmation email from us when your order is ready for pick-up at the funeral home. To ensure your order is prepared and to avoid any disruption to ongoing memorial services, please call ahead to let us know your estimated arrival time.​

What size urn is right for me? ​

​

In order to hold all of your loved one's ashes you'll need to know the approximate healthy body weight of the person you are shopping for. One pound of healthy body weight will yield just less than 1 cubic inch of ash.

 

Adult Size Urns (Standard) - ~200 cubic inches

The most common urn size is a standard Adult Urn which ranges from ~200 to 225 cubic inches and is suitable for most adults. 

 

Small/Medium Urns - Sharing Remains and Young Children 
We also sell Small and Medium Urns which are typically used to share remains or for young children. Small and Medium urns are not used as a single vessel for adult remains regardless of height or weight before cremation.

Keepsakes (Heart, Photo or Standard) - Sharing Remains - Less than 5 cubic inches

Keepsake urns are best for holding a small amount of ashes in remembrance. Keepsake urns are a popular option when dividing ashes amongst children, grandchildren, or friends.

Companion Urns (Urns for Two) - 340 cubic inches

Urns for Two, sometimes referred to as Companion Urns, Double Urns or Double Internment, are used when combining two people’s ashes into a single urn. Our Companion Urns fit 340 cubic inches of remains.

Niche: 

Niche urns are specifically sized to fit within standard columbarium niches, making them ideal for placement in mausoleums or memorial walls. These urns combine refined design with precise dimensions, offering a respectful and elegant tribute suited for permanent public display. Please confirm the size of your niche before purchasing urn to ensure your selected urn will fit.

Scattering:
Scattering urns are designed for the dignified and ceremonial release of a loved one’s ashes in a meaningful location. These urns are often chosen when families plan a memorial event in nature, such as at sea or in a favorite outdoor setting.

Biodegradable:

Biodegradable urns are intended for environmentally conscious families planning a green burial or water scattering. Made from natural materials, they gently return the ashes to the earth or water without harming the environment. They are not suitable for permanent display or burial.
